The BITEIN awards are given away in 10 different categories. These are as follows

• Administrative Excellence
• Outstanding Teacher
• Beyond Dentistry
• Continuing Research in Indian Dentistry
• Technical Finesse
• Dentistry Imprinted
• Corporate Entrepreneur
• Clinical Dentist of the year
• UG Award
• PG Award

The above categories honor dentists from India who have made a mark and lent tremendously to the dental profession. The awardees for the first two categories are selected by TEAM BITEIN. The next six are selected by a special panel of judges as well as winners of the previous years. The final two are picked from nominees sent by dental institutions from all over India. These nominations are subjected to an extensive selection process and web based interviews carried out by a special panel for the UG and PG nominations. The top five UG and PG nomnations appear in person at the Awards program and the winner is selected after a live session.
